Modern Farming Techniques

KFP - a Modern Farming Technique

Why go for Modern Farming Techniques when we have our own techniques followed since generations? This can be a question raised in many minds. After all, these were the techniques used by our forefathers.

Our forefathers used to draw water from wells through cattle cart which was sufficient for their need, but now we have already used all the water for our greed.
We have dug bore-wells extracting the deepest of water and in less than a decade we have emptied our Mother Earth. Also today we are in the era of Global warming where things have become all the more difficult for us and we have to find new ways to save our farms.

To gain water we tried our hands at rainwater harvesting methods like farm ponds, reservoirs, dams etc. but by now we have started realizing their limitations. These methods are not fruitful & worth their cost. Rather they show negative effects in the long run.

In farming techniques we have introduced Drip Irrigation Technique as a modern farming method. But have we thought of its action on the soil as whole.

  • In Drip Irrigation, water is only near the roots of the crops/plant and the rest soil remains dry. The effect is that all the microorganisms in the soil which make it fertile go dead. These organisms are an essential part of the soil and we can't afford to lose them.
  • Also the roots in this type of farming don't go deep in the soil as water is only in the upper level. This makes the plant less sturdy.

So in the long run even this method is not useful.

So if not this then what?

The only answer is KFP
KFP is a modern way of rainwater harvesting, but due to its benefits we can call it - a modern way of farming.

By storing the rainwater in the form of soil moisture KFP offers improved security of harvest, increased & sustainable production and opportunities for crop diversification, solution for power crisis, global warming effects etc.
In addition to this, because of the long lasting moisture, the organisms in the soil last for longer period and also increase in numbers. Their activity aerates the soil and increases its fertility.

KFP is actually a natural way of irrigation but in modern form - Since the water is provided to plants from below the ground, the roots tend to go deep into the ground which makes them sturdier and absorb more minerals from deeper soil.

Farmers with orthodox farming techniques and knowledge are unable to cope with changes of Nature and are thus seen giving up the battle of life. Kedia Farm Pattern is a miraculous invention which will stand by the farmer and win him his battle.

Role of KFP in Organic Farming

Organic Farming is the Future Farming!
People have started realizing health hazards caused by chemical fertilizers. Therefore more people will incline towards organic products. Thus there will be greater demand for organic products and thereby to Organic farming.

Organic farming is based on using no or limited artificial fertilizers. KFP's soil moisture technique increases soil fertility by making your soil pro-microorganisms. The waste produced by these microorganisms and aeration created due to their activities makes the soil more fertile. This thus reduces the need of artificial fertilizers. Year after year the soil gradation also improves, which is the basic requirement of organic farming. Also the root deepening & root strengthening effect of KFP is very useful.
